Combining Breeding and Biotechnology to Develop Water Efficient Maize for Africa (WEMA)

Enabling access to the drought tolerant product through an approach that maximises farmer choice is a major long-term goal of the WEMA project. The project is intended to target the vast majority of small-scale, resource poor farmers in the partner countries.
