Stella Simiyu-Wafukho - Program Officer 

Stella Simiyu-WafukhoStella Simiyu-Wafukho is a Policy Analyst with a BA in Political Science (Honours) and a Master of Policy Studies (MPS) from the Southern African Regional Institute of Policy Studies, affiliated to Fort Hare University, South Africa. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Entrepreneurship at Kenyatta University, Nairobi, Kenya. Before joining AATF, Stella worked as a Trade Officer and Assistant to the Trade Commissioner at the Embassy of Belgium in Nairobi with the responsibility of promoting trade between East African Community (EAC) countries and Belgium, the Institute of Economic Affairs as Assistant Project Coordinator, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) as Dissemination Officer, and Feed the Children as Programme Officer. Stella has also taught diploma students in monitoring and evaluation at Daystar’s (Kenya) Graduate Mobilisation Programme and written topical articles on part-time basis for Eve magazine. With over 10 year’s experience, she has skills in programme management, public policy analysis, entrepreneurship development, creative writing and adult training. Stella is a Kenyan national.
