Moussa Elhadj Adam holds an MBA from Laval University in Canada, an MA in Economic sciences from Benin University in Togo and professional accounting qualifications. Before joining the AATF he worked in various capacities in various African countries with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) for over ten years at different levels of management where he was instrumental in helping solve problems in various UNDP offices worldwide. In 1999, he was appointed by the New York UNDP Human Resource office as the first sub-regional classification specialist. In 2003 he was appointed, among other experienced staff, as Common Service Expert to assist in achieving the UN Secretary General's reform agenda on common services and premises. Elhadj has also worked in his home country in the Office of Control and Orientation of Industry in the Ministry of Mines and Industry before being reassigned to the National Office of Mineral Resources where he worked for about two years as the head of Studies and Documentation. He has also been a lecturer in accounting, economics and financial mathematics in various institutions in Niger such as the National School of Administration, the National School of Insurance, the National School of Statistics and Assistant Teacher at the University Abdoul Moumouni Dioffo. Elhadj has experience in financial management, and human resource administration and logistics. His greatest skills are interpersonal skills which enable him to create a motivating environment for the human resource in an organisation. Elhadj is a national of Niger.
