Calleb Oyugi Adede – Project Officer, FINTRAC

Calleb Oyugi Adede holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (Agronomy) from Egerton University. Before joining AATF Calleb worked with USAID/KAVES project where he held a Monitoring and Evaluation portfolio for Western Kenya Value Chain Project, World Concern International - Productive Assets and Institutional Recovery (PARIS) project in Southern Sudan, Voluntary Services Organization Accenture Project in South Asia Cambodia, Anglican Development Services Kisumu, and CMAD/CEFA Project Homa Bay. Calleb has developed business plans for 25 different businesses. As Project Officer at AATF based in Kisumu, Calleb is responsible for  out-scaling the Imazapyr Resistant (IR) maize technology so that it reaches as many farmers as possible in target counties – Busia, Siaya, Kisumu, Vihiga, Homa Bay and Migori. Activities are aimed at facilitating commercial seed production and use of StrigAway (IR) maize technology by farmers. Calleb is Kenyan.
